Poker Tournament Fundraiser Event
Hosted By: Shannon Schiele, Julie Costa, Tayloe Kelly, John Kelly, Kathy Schiele and Jenae McIntyre.
Our goal is to raise $5600 to support enrollment for Josie Hudspeth and Jenae McIntyre to attend a Personal Development and Leadership Program at Choice Center University.
Date: Friday, September 13th, 2013
Time: Registration starts at 6:00pm. Play starts at 6:30pm.

Tournament Rules: We will be playing Texas Hold-em!

Texas Hold-em Quick Rules: Agree on the betting format ( No-Limit) and the small and big blind bets. Deal two cards down to all players and bet, led by the player left of the big blind better. Each subsequent betting round starts with the player left of the dealer. Burn a card and deal three community cards in the middle of the table followed by a bet. Then burn another card and deal a fourth card up and bet, followed by a burn and a fifth card dealt up and a final bet. Remaining players can use their two down or “hole” cards with the five community cards to form their best 5 card hand. After the fourth betting round, players reveal their hole cards to determine the winning hand.
Event Activities: Fundraising Raffle, Free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, alcoholic beverages available for purchase, Pool and Jacuzzi, Fireworks at 8:50pm.
Prizes: Raffle prizes and a grand prize for the winner of the tournament!
